About the role

As Bar Manager, you will lead and develop our bar team while working closely with the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef, and the rest of the management team.

You are responsible for ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience through outstanding service, high-quality beverages, and a motivated team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you lead by example and help create a positive and professional culture.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the bar team.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, quality, and hospitality.
• Create an inspiring and positive working environment.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Develop seasonal cocktail menus and beverage offerings.
• Train and mentor bartenders while maintaining high service standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory, stock control, and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and alcohol regulations.
• Take an active role in daily bar operations and service.

We believe you have

• Previous experience as a bartender in a quality-driven restaurant or cocktail bar.
• Leadership experience, or the ambition and qualities to grow into a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to stay calm and lead confidently in a fast-paced environment.
• A Norwegian or European work permit.
