We are looking for an experienced, positive and hands-on Head Waiter to join the team at Brasseriet, The Well.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being present on the restaurant floor, leading a team during busy services and making sure both guests and employees have a great experience. 👨‍🍳🤝🍷

As Head Waiter, you will play an important role in ensuring that each service runs smoothly while maintaining a high level of hospitality and teamwork.

👀 Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

🌟 Has experience from à la carte restaurant service 👥 Has experience leading or supervising a service team 😊 Has a positive, motivating and solution-oriented personality 🔥 Performs well in a busy and high-tempo environment 🍷 Has good knowledge of food, wine and beverages 🗣️ Communicates clearly with both guests and colleagues 👀 Has strong attention to detail 🤝 Enjoys coaching and supporting other team members ✅ Is organised, responsible and reliable 💬 Speaks English or Norwegian confidently

Experience from hotels, busy restaurants, conferences, events or larger service operations is highly beneficial.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

As Head Waiter, you will:

👥 Lead and coordinate the service team during shifts 🍽️ Ensure smooth and efficient à la carte service 👋 Welcome guests and maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor 📋 Help organise sections and responsibilities before service 🗣️ Conduct briefings and ensure the team understands the day's menus, bookings and priorities 🍷 Support the team with food, wine and beverage recommendations 👀 Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the service 🔥 Step in and support the team during busy periods 🏨 Coordinate service for conferences, groups and events 🤝 Maintain strong communication between the restaurant, kitchen and bar 📚 Train, coach and support waiters and new team members ✅ Ensure service routines and standards are followed 💡 Identify ways to continuously improve the guest experience and daily operations 🌟 Help maintain a positive, professional and supportive team culture
