Hotel St. Elisabeth / De Tre Nonner -- Tromsø

We are now hiring skilled and experienced kitchen staff to join our team at Hotel St. Elisabeth and our restaurant De Tre Nonner in Tromsø for the winter season 2026/27.

De Tre Nonner is a quality-focused restaurant with a Nordic-inspired kitchen, built around local products and suppliers. Our kitchen operates across two services:

• Breakfast
• Dinner -- à la carte

We are looking for passionate, reliable and team-oriented people who want to contribute to developing our kitchen and restaurant concept further.

HEAD CHEF

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef who can take overall responsibility for the kitchen operation at Hotel St. Elisabeth / De Tre Nonner.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef
• Strong à la carte experience
• Good knowledge of Nordic and quality-focused cooking
• Leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Key responsibilities:

• Menu development and continuous development of the restaurant concept
• Training and coaching kitchen staff
• Organizing work schedules and daily kitchen operations
• Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• IK-MAT food safety routines
• Ordering and stock control
• Monitoring and controlling food costs
• Building and developing a strong kitchen team

The Head Chef will have the opportunity to shape the concept and menu at De Tre Nonner and build their own team in a small, close-knit operation with short decision paths and a real opportunity to influence daily operations.

COOKS & KITCHEN ASSISTANTS

We are looking for:

Cook

• Experience from à la carte operations
• Passion for quality food and good ingredients
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Reliable and team-oriented

Kitchen Assistants

• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a good working environment
